Kiting In Icaraizinho

Icaraizinho is a large sheltered bay with side-onshore wind, making it very safe.

There is a dead flat water area in front of the center, which is created by the shelter of a reef. On top of the reef, you get some nice waves, of varied size depending on the tide height. You also find some great freshwater lagoons for kitesurfing between the sand dunes.

And you can have some downwind routes either from the upwind town Caetanos to Icaraizinho, or start here and ride west to Moitas. In Moitas there is a river mouth with flat water.
