November is known to be the month when the waves starts here in Jericoacoara. We call it "wave season" from November to end of March, and the waves are very friendly - normally 1,5 meters. Every now and then we are blessed by a swell, and the waves can get up to 2,5 meters.
This means that Jericoacoara is a perfect spot for those who want to learn this cool and healthy sport! And everybody from 8 to 80 years can start surfing here, as we have no rocks... all sandy bottom!!
