Icaraizinho’s environmental actions

In Icaraizinho we collect cans, bottles, paper and all recyclable material in a large room at the club. When levels get high, a local man on bull driven vehicle passes by to collect the rubbish and sells it. This initiative has attracted other establishments to adopt similar efforts in the village.

Another significant action we started a while ago is the backyard garden with all fresh produce used in the club’s restaurant: eggplant, rucola, lettuce, mint, spring onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, chili. In the near future we intent to grow a bigger variety of vegetables and add some extra flavor to our already delicious dishes!
